Beef noodle (牛肉麵)

Beef noodle is made with stewed beef, beef broth, vegetables and Chinese noodles. It is very well known throughout East Asia and Southeast Asia.

This is a famous food in Taiwan and we all love to eat it. It isn’t a surprise if you find different kinds of beef noodles almost every corner in different areas of Taiwan.

There are varieties of beef noodle restaurants that you can choose depending on your tastes. Some have a spicier flavor and others may taste sweeter.  Moreover, the price will be different depends on the ingredient that the restaurant uses.

Beef noodle becomes a part of our daily meal, sometimes if we do not know what to eat for dinner or lunch, we will choose beef noodles because you can get those ingredients easily from a supermarket.  You only have to prepare noodles, chopped beef, and vegetables then put it together and simmer them.

My mother is good at making beef noodles so my father loves to eat it. Sometimes my father brings us to eat out and discover new beef noodle restaurant.

  1. This looks so good! I have had beef noodles in Montreal and I loved it. However, I feel like I have to go to Taiwan and have some. I would love to know more about Taiwanese food.
